Unter deren
Anleitung wird dieses Metallgeflecht für Menoni in Italien in 22 Modefarben hergestelt. Andere Hersteller bieten ähnliche Bänder an. Optisch fast kein Unterschied.

Tease it and froth it...
Gently pull the edges of the mesh outwards. It will hold it's shape quite well but if you intend to suspend beads or a pendant from it, their weight will pull the mesh ribbon back to it's original width. It would be better to use a length of jewellery wire to hold the weight and use the mesh as decoration around it. Use Hair lacquer spray to help maintain the frothy look.
Tease it and Use it as a pendant ....
Thread jewellery wire through the metallic mesh ribbon before teasing out or simply froth out the mesh around an existing pendant wire.
Put beads inside it
Italian Metallic mesh is a tubular ribbon. Try threading beads, tubes and crytals inside it. Beads up to approximately 14mm diameter should be acceptable but each mesh colour can have different properties so a little experimentation is required.
Thread a cord or ribbon through it
Insert a similar or contrasting colour cord or thread inside Italian Metallic Tubular Mesh. In this example, we used a Rat-tail cord which very nicely, just filled the filigree tubes.
Thread Metallic Mesh through beads
Metallic Mesh Ribbon can be used for stringing beads provided the hole size is large enough. Teasing the ribbon out in between some beads looks very effective - but use a piece of jewellery wire to hold the weight.
Use as a simple or multi-strand pendant
Italian Metallic Mesh can be used as a simple ribbon to support a pendant. Or use several strands in complementary or contrasting colours.
Threading beads onto mesh
Threading metallic tubular mesh through beads is relatively simple using a loop of wire as shown here. Take some care however as the fine wires which it's woven from can break if the mesh us treated too roughly.
